yea it work the night befor do you tap on the bottom of your boat i always get them if i do
I never thought about tapping the bottom of my boat. It’s a little 14’ alum. v-hull and I figured it made enough noise without me adding to it.

i thought that was you out there bob. i seen all that alum on the boat and rememebered you showing pix a while back. we were in the jon boat that looked like the spider…lol…we’ll all find them soon. how far up lake did you run striperking
A few years back, I would go fishing in the early am, wouldnt catch anything. Then would drop the bass tracker off and pick up the Fourwinns and kids about 10:00am. I would pull out into the middle of the lake, the kids would all jump in and start splashing around having fun and wouldnt you know it, the stripers would start schooling near the boat. What a drag!! After this happened time after time, I soon figured it out. Splashing works, beating on the bottom of the boat works. Dont know about the aluminum bottom boat though. Next time you are over fish and they are not showing any activity, jump in the water, splash around, cool off. Soon you might see schooling fish come right up next to your boat. Try it.
i was at the kondos in about 55 foot of water fish from around 40 to the bottom
