Nice to see the fish are getting some size, and the nubers are also getting better.
I have a built in livewell on the back of my boat and don’t have a problem keeping bait for most of the day, and I use a air stone bubbler. Add ice on as the day goes on, and even a little fresh water. Some add salt, but I’ve never had a need.

all i have now is a cheap bubble box in the livewell and i do add ice and the bait was dead by 900 am???

Fresh bait from David or Richard at the Dam, or Better Bait or Lakeworld seems to last. Some of the other bait outlets don’t do as well.

i always buy from lake world. where can i find a air stone bubbler? also do u add any treatment? last year my bait lasted most of the day but the past 2 trips they have died early!

Forgot to add - Use their water, and Add “Foam Off” when you see any foam. Bubbler, air stones and Foam Off are all available at Lakeworld, just ask for a little assitance and Richard will provide more than you need.
