Saltwater Striper Fishing

Put in at the dam at 6:00 & was fishing by 6:20. I hit a few spots on the Lexington side without marking anything & ended up near Jakes. I went to a spot that was good last year & started seeing fish right away. Stayed there till about 9:30 after I caught my fifth striper. I had lots of pull downs with missed fish, but had 4 to the boat by 8:30. All were in the 6-8 lb. range. Porkchop & I had fun and left them biting.

Way to go Bob! Thanks for the report. Spoon, his uncle, friend Kelly, and I are heading out early in the morn. Normally, I’m not in a big hurry to get out on the lake with 5&done, but we need to try to catch em up and be off before the holiday traffic hits. I’ll try to post another report.
