My wife and I decided to get out early Sunday, before all the “recreators” got out. The morning started out great, 28 in redfish. After that…lots of bait stealers, croakers and whiting. We headed back after getting beat by all the wakes!
red was caught on cut mullet on the bottom
about 2hrs before high tide
along the grass near the mouth of a creek
81 degrees
Wow, hard to beat a day like that. As much as I love catching a good fighting red, I get to fish so seldom that catching just about anything is fun.
stono is a tough place to fish when the recreational boaters and traveling yachts get thick for sure…water muddy’s fast and makes for tough times fishing the docks and creeks for sure…at least you caugth something:)…fishing and “catching”…always a good thing :)…our boats have stayed in the yard this weekend…too much craziness out there…will go tommorow…Happy 4th!
