Sunday Report - Great to be on the H2O!

Beautiful morning on Sunday - first time on the H2O in over a month. Primary objective was to be fishin’ rather than wishin’ I was fishin’. Objective met!

Caught two 19 inch striper from 60 foot humps near Spence - C3 on club map. Covered up in fish - but had a difficult time hooking them. More than 12 bites where the bait was mauled, de-scaled, de-skinned and/or de-hooked. The striper took everything but the Gamagatsu!

Bait lived well between 35 and 45 feet and swam CRAZY nervous when the schools moved through.

Control Freak - did you send a message to my phone Sunday AM? I didn’t recognize the number - and my phone does not fully display text messages - but based on the bit I did receive, it was similar to your report posted earlier this week.

I did send a message and yes the the Sunday Monday reports were what I sent. I also went this morning after I got off of work with the same results in the same place. Also got a 15 pound cat as a bonus.

Thanks for the reports guys- especially the club map coordinates! (That way I’m sure I’m following you) Haven’t had a chance to reply to controlfreak’s reports but a buddy of mine had basically the same fishing experience on those days. Sounds like he and CF were fishing right next to each other or at least in the same spot at different times. I’m going to get after them hard 9/20-9/23, so I’ll return the favor on giving a detailed report. Hope I have something to tell…

I just hope the fish stay put until I can sample then this weekend. Gonna try the R1 area on the map on Saturday morning. Getting bait at David’s house before I put in.

You controlfreak you been going threw a good amount of bait when you are out?

I have been getting 2 dozen and not using them all but getting 2 dozen at George’s is usually about 3 dozen or a little more. Keep fresh bait on the line or wait till you see fish and drop fresh bait in their face. Chum with the ones you pull back up dead CHUMMING WORKS!
