Got the invite to roll on a friend’s boat Sunday so I jumped at the chance. Got to ride on his (relatively) new cat. Never been on a cat before and I definitely love the room to work in this thing.
A little bottom bouncing and 2 dives per team around the banks hailed good day all around. We managed a couple solid hogfish, 4 bugs, and a mixed bag of triggers, pinks, b-liners, and bsb. And we did manage to bag a pretty solid triple tail that was hanging out inside a floating barrel. Water was pleasant (3mil from here on) and vis was 40’ first dive down to 20’ the second dive.
