Sunday the third....mixed bag

fished the morning falling tide and then about two hours of the incoming. Early morning found reds leaving the grass in an island in Wadmallaw sound. Three reds in succession, two 22 in. and one blue-tailed youngster. They were hitting on live shrimp, which were constantly getting chewed up by bait stealers so I had to constantly re-bait. Left that spot and headed to a trout spot, oyster bar with falling tide washing over it. Got a couple of small trout also on shrimp. Then tried a couple more redfish locations but no luck. Moved over to the mouth of a large creek right before low tide and at the beginning of the incoming. Caught several good sized whiting and some more small trout and a bonnet head. Ran out of live bait so headed back.
Water was in 78-80 degrees and pretty clear.
Great day on the water!!

Sounds like a great day! Nice post and photo. Thanks for sharing.
