Got back to lake on Sunday afternoon. Dodged numerous storms, but was able to stay dry by pulling anchor when needed and running around the rain showers, it was kinda fun playing dodgeball with the downpours. Anyway, the bite remained as stong as last weekend and my crew of three were able to fill the cooler once again and run through several dozen herring with no problem. Here is a photo of my happy bother-in-law with a nice 30 incher. Most fish caught downrodding in about 65 feet just off the bottom.
Nice try, but I was out yesterday as well and happen to know the fish weren’t biting. LOL
We fished the early am and found some fish and just couldn’t get them to bite. To top it off we were even fishing the same way off the bottom in about 70’and not far at all from where that pic was taken. Not sure what we were doing wrong.
Nice fish…Congratz on a good day!
