Anyone going out? I figure I’ll give it a try in the morning. How do you think the cooler temps are going to affect the fish?

I am gonna try it in the morning. I have not been in two weeks but one thing is for sure I won’t catch anything setting at home hope we all wear em out. Good Luck

Went riding around lookin and it didn’t really look like much changed. Most of the fish I marked were still 80-90’ down. They seemed thicker around humps, but were also scattered suspended in the river channel.

I don’t think I got it in me get my gear together and then get up early. May give it a try tomorrow evening.

I got up at 5:00, looked outside, wet & foggy, went back to bed. Got up at 7:00, still wet & foggy, decided to pass on fishing this morning. Poured another cup of coffee and turned on the tv. mmmmmm…, good coffee.

I wound up early too and coluld have went but I just didn’t feel like the fishing would be too good after seeing how deep most of the fish still were. They gotta be struggling.

Control freak, you make it out?

We did make it out and did not do very well. We caught a few fish between goat and shull the fish we caught were at 50 foot deep. The fish were hard to find in any big groups. We did have a few schools surface early threw what I had at them no bites. All the bait I saw today was from the top to 40 foot down.

Thanks for the report.

I would think fishing will be tough until they move on up some. The DO reading where they are holding is showing quite a bit lower than the 25 percentile from previous years. Hopefully they can hang on the next 2-3 weeks.

On a positive note. They have been pulling water now steadily at about 3000 cf/sec for quite a while. That seems to be lower than would be expected considering the current lake level and the amount of rain we have had as well as what is expected. Seems like they are trying to moderate it as much as possible.

Interesting…The data from the bottom sensor on the lake at 85’ shows the temp dropped 2.5* and the DO reading spiked from .9 to 1.5 …all just since they started runing all that water earlier this morning.

Wonder if that will get them eating???

Will follow up with an answer in the morning.

Striperskiff, did you mark some fish and they would not bite or did you have trouble finding them?

Marked plenty…mostly 80-90’…just wouldn’t bite

I’m going to hang it up for a couple of weeks unless they come up sooner

I went out last night and was marking them at 80. I tried up near Goat and near the condos. Nothing!

Some people have been doing well lately. We must be looking for fish in all the wrong places.
