Here’s what Saturday is looking like:
Buoy reports:

https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=41004
https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=41008
And last, then forecast:
https://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/forecasts/marine/offshore/an/anz835.txt
Wind on the Hatteras buoy 41002 is from the W @ 14kts/gusts 19
Wind on the Edisto buoy 41004 is from the N @ 8kts/gusts 10
Wind on the Grays Reef buoy 41008 is from the ESE @ 4kts/gusts of 4
Big difference in what’s here and what’s coming…especially 80+ miles offshore…I’ll mow the grass instead…and have a cocktail…no worries.

So much for my forecasting. My crew had other plans so I talked myself out of going. After last time in the rain, they weren’t keen on “may be good”.
That BIG “H” fooled me…I didn’t pay attention to the large bands around it. If they would have been tighter…the forecast would fit the one for offshore waters.
The good side is my yard looks nice. How were the seas offshore for those who went???
