Why have the tides been super high for the past month or so? And is it affecting the fishing?
Providing a good tide for the skinny water fly fishing

Yea I don’t fly fish so that doesn’t really answer my question. Personally it kinda concerns me that is all this extra water around Charleston.
Three-fourths of the Earth’s surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

nothing to be worried. Its just a combo of 2 flood tides that happen every month along with a ton of NE winds which makes the tide trend much higher than usual, as it pushes more water in.
