Surf fishing myrtle

Hey fellas, i will be living in myrtle for the next few months, (i’ve been in myrtle since last june but have lived in SC most of my life). I typically surf fish afternoons mondays-thursdays (not everyday, but a fair amount of them). Just posting up here to see if there was anyone else that also fishes up here that maybe wanted to meet up. Makes passing the time between bites easier. Actually just missed a bite while typing this. I typically fish near 69th avenue because thats close to where i live.

you may get better ■■■■■■■■ if you post in the the surf/pier fishing category.

I use to stay in MB. We fished piers most often. Springmaid was my go to - it is down. Apache is closest to you. Not sure if you into pier fishing. Beach can be good anywhere if you have some cuts, bars, rips around. Got to find some structure. You can ride the beach at low tide on a bike or walk to scope it out. Mark or note it so you can find it later. You up your surf catch 10x by finding one to fish. Majority of MB beach is pancake flat and you depend on a passing school or fish for a bite. Go do a search on “reading surf” and look at post. Mr DParker has some good ones on here. Also a bunch you can search on PierandSurf forum on reading surf. I learned the had way - I would rather look for two days and find a good spot than fish for three and not catch hardly anything.
