I’m heading to Charleston right now, the fuel pump on my truck died so I couldn’t bring the boat. Is there any good spots I can get to on foot to fish? Or if anybody wants two extra pirates on there boat, we are game for that too.

You will have difficulty finding predictable action this time of year from shore.
If you are just looking for action and not food fish, then just pay the fare and go out to the end of Folly pier. Chuck out some finger mullet (frozen or otherwise) or any other form of cut bait, esp. fillets that mimic a whole minnow. You do stand a chance at nailing a big redfish.
You may also snag a big bonnethead or other shark. Don’t “fish for them on purpose” since you aren’t allowed to, but fish for big reds and you’ll likely hook one or the other.
