Went out Sunday(15th) pulling herring on the feeder creeks up-lake of Dreher Island State Park. Caught 5 schoolies and 3 keepers in 12-18 feet of water until the wind came up about 11:30. Caught a few on downrigger after that.
Water temp was 60 in the am and 63 in the afternoon.
Watched bass boats in 3-footers. That was entertaining. Pulled bucktails between two islands and the wind was hard in our face. Circled and pulled back through the same passage from the other direction and the wind was still in our face.
Sunday afternoon, I went to check my floating dock and my pontoon tied to it. From what I saw, it must have been pretty sporty on the water anywhere there was a long reach from windward.
With the wind that was forcasted I decided to go out friday night. It was perfect. Warm with a light breeze. I got on the water about 7:00 and had three stripers in the boat before I could get out four lines. It slowed down after sunset. Ended up with 10 stripers and 2 cats. The fish shut completely off at 11:00. I caught most on freeline herring. There was some decent schooling going on. There was a pontoon with a big school right in front of him. When I went by it looked like the water was boiling. I watched him from about 300 yards away. There were over 100 birds circling him for an hour. The most impressive part was nobody shot in on him spooking the fish away.

Got home from Atlanta Sunday, Greenwood was rough as a cobb. 0 boats on the water (at least none that I could see)
