I’m gonna have to change my login name as I’m now a Surfside fisherman. Its all new, & not that I want your “Honey Holes” but any luck up here on this part of the coast? What about the inland ponds and brackish waters? Any suggestions are appreciated.
Spent a lot of my youth in Murrells Inlet and surrounds. It’s small enough to find a bite and big enough to always be learning new holes. Really miss my days on the water there. You’re also close enough to Pawley’s to hit that when the trout bite is on. Enjoy.

surf caster,
garden city is a good place to surf fish. also, try huntington beach state park. you can find some nice size fish there. if you ever want to go surf fishing, send me message and we will meet up. by the way, the split bridge in georgetown can produce sometimes. keep an eye out for the gator in that area. they like to hangout near the bridges.Webster

I missed the Surfcasting part of that. The Jetties and points at the mouth of Murrells Inlet can be great for Surfcasting. The North Jetty can be accessed on foot at the end of Waccamaw drive in Garden City. The South Jetty has a hard top road all the way to the end that will allow you to fish the mouth of the inlet. It’s where I caught my first big redfish as a wee lad. It is a long walk from Huntington Beach state park. Pack light. Have fun.
