They make what they call electric over hydraulic. That uses a electric actuator that mounts to the tongue. Pretty pricey.I’ve had surge brakes on a 30-foot walk around for many years and have had no problems. I bought a kit from tie down (surge brakes) 3 years ago for my 22 ft bay boat. Very happy with them everything fit perfect took me about 2 1/2 hours to install
