How do I found out what the check engine means and how do I reset? The light came on while trying to restart motor.

I have been told to reset you pull the kill switch pin and pull the red button up about 5 or 6 times. When my engines passed the 20 hr mark the light came on as a reminder for routine servicing.

Is it the check engine light or the oil light blinking??..the oil light is a reminder for oil change, to reset turn key to the on position and pull kill switch out 3 times…the check engine light the problem must be fixed first…
