I just started noticing a high pitch noise coming from my 2009 Suzuki DF225 at idle. Anyone else have this problem or no what it could be? I have the 6 year warranty, should it go to the shop?

If you have a warrantee I would take it in. I would hate to have to hear something like “Well sir, since you didn’t bring this in when the problem started the manufacturer says your warrantee is void.” Better safe than sorry.
Had the same thing happen with an '06 200. One mechanic replaced the fuel pump and the noise came back. Then they pulled the lower unit and cleaned and greased the bushing in the intermediate housing. Noise came back and I sprayed the powerhead with CRC and it went away. Go figure!
