Looking to get contact info of Suzuki mechanics or welders that have experience in welding an aluminum patch to replace the steel plug on Suzuki DF90, 1115, 140 (2001 - 2007) — to address corrosion issues associated with a steel plug Suzuki used (instead of aluminum).
Any knowledge folks have of the welding option and whether it has proved to be a viable lasting fix would also be appreciated.
I recently purchased a boat and became of the issue. It appears the previous owner opted to use JB Weld and a chrome plug.
