Suzuki Trim Up Limitations

When I bought my new boat in Apr with 225 Suzuki I was told the engine should not be put in the full up trim position except for maintenance. I was told this would cause oil to leak and cause engine problems. Anyone have any thoughts on this or can confirm?

unless u r keeping the boat in the water, I always suggest keeping the trim as low as possible
