SW Banks 5-20 (pics added)

We took a friend of mines newly refurbed Grady out for her first run Sunday. Boat rides awesome, did great of fuel, and fishes pretty ■■■■ good as well.

Started trolling in 100’ when we saw a bunch of bait being worked by a bunch of dolphins (flipper ones). Picked up a slinger dolphin and a small king. Had 3 more king knock downs (they put on a great aerial show for us) and decided to pick up and run out a little more.

We stopped a little shy of the ledge on a big ball of bait that was getting worked by dolphin and some bonita. Stayed in this area for the rest of the day picking up dolphin and 2 fat wahoo. We had a few cases where the dolphin were eating more than one bait, and had to fight 1 fish with 2 rods. Some major surgery was required at the dock so i could retrieve my Squitches back!

Ended the day with 14 dolphin all but 2 were gaffer fish, 2 really fat wahoos, and a small king.

Lehi squithes were the hot bait of the day for the dolphin, Electric Chicken and Pink and White were the hottest colors for the dolphin.
Both Wahoo came off of a Black/Purple Islander fished in the WTFB position.

All in all it was a wonderful day fishing, lots of beer, high fives, Charlie Daniels, and some Buffett made for a great day on the pond.

rough day on the pond!
