Left Sullivan’s Isle around 4:45…lines in just short of SW Banks around 7:30. Ride out was pretty good. First mahi on by 8:15 in about 120ft. Then a double knock down by something fast without a hook up around 8:30…nothing after that until afternoon. No weeds to be seen. We trolled out to 400ft and back…then picked up a 30lb wahoo back in around 130ft. Stayed just inside SW Banks
until 2;30 and picked up another Mahi, an AJ and a king…then headed for the hill in what turned out to be a nasty ride home in a quartering head sea.
Saw very few flyers past 180ft…and most were in 100-130ft.
Has all the W winds blown all the weeds 80 miles out???
