Had a beautiful ride out yesterday on flat seas. Had fun dodging some storms and finally got lines in. We had a rough time keeping hooks in their mouths yesterday. We had at least 8 dolphin spit the hook on us. Brought back 4 gaffers and released 1 peanut. Towards the end of the day we hooked a Blue and he popped the line after about a minute or so. I have never seen a fish dump so much line so fast. It was an awesome experience.
Hot bait yesterday was the pink/purple Lehi Squitch. The marlin ate a Bleeding Dolphin Lehi Palmetto Chugger. (I hated loosing that one!)
Hope to be out there some this week.
Thanks to Allen on the Seafix for all the help Friday and Sunday!
