I don’t get involved in the sailfish debate… But, have you seen the size of the blackfins those guys keep down here? 90% of the ones kept are not much longer than a large balleyhoo. It’s pretty crazy down there.

Nah man, thats like three sushi rolls, hammering them! We fished out of Marathon on the humps and caught tuna like that but we didn’t keep em… They troll those tuna darts and hammer the little blackfin.
We caught 30 something blackfins at the 409 a year or so back and several were well into 20#s. Took several of those little peckers, bridled them, and put them back down and had a riot with 70 and 80# AJs and BMF sharks…
