Just started trying out the GULP baits. Any suggestions on proper rigging, suggested jig heads, etc? Any help would be appreciated.
Deadly on flounder. 4" pearl white. I like it on a 1/4 or 1/8 or 3/8 chartreuse jighead. some times I go white or orange jig head. second choice is the chartreuse Gulp! 4" swimming mullet. (white,orange or chartreuse jighead) (reds/trout too) I have noticed on the white ones, they seem to have got softer in the packs, so i switched to the Gulp! Alive in the jugs and they seem firmer. I hate to keep posting this blog but we wear the flatties out on these baits.

The 3" shrimp aren’t to shabby either. (natural or molting) unpainted, black. or white jighead in 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, or 3/8. They work great in the grass on weighted or unweighted worm hooks too. (rigged weedless) I know some folks who fish them under popping corks too.

My dad caught bass and trout on white gulp shrimp on a z-man chatter bait head. They’ll catch anything they pass that’s hungry.

No. My dad isn’t rad at all.
I did meet RADDADDY at the last CF dinner at the Glass Onion, though. Nice guy.
My unrad dad caught the trout and largemouth bass in Grove Creek, by the way. He also caught a big ol’ red in there. The red was on a purple BPS trick worm, not a gulp. He only had three gulp shrimps and they got torn up and hung up pretty quickly.
