Kebda is not going to be happy about that…
Seriously though… Let’s see them. You’ve already drawn the line in the sand that “secrets don’t matter”. Will you practice what you preach? Remember, you welcome competition. Let’s compete over your bottomfish.

It started with a great report on offshore fishing from a Captain who shared his experience:
“Have been told by some not to post reports about Swordfishing, but this forum has been pretty quiet lately so what the hell.”
It sank into a pissing match over numbers. Probably Kebda trolling to get a reaction. Either way, “numbers” used to be sacred. The advances in GPS and bottom mapping have made it easy.
Like a fool, I went out in my shed looking for my old Loran numbers to compare them to the “Maps Unique” GPS Version 4 2006. I’ll keep looking but Skinneej likes to prove a point:

Off R7 there’s a ridge I used to fish with Loran…#29 on this chart…3143.82/8018.75. It’s west of the North Banks. Dumb lucked into it drift fishing. Red Snapper…can’t keep them today. Why they were there??? I don’t know. I go to common ground now looking for big BSB and Grunts!!! Occasional Gag(Oops CLOSED).
The only “private numbers” are either made by the owner or dumb lucked on. Put your fenders out so you don’t scratch my gel coat and bring it!!!
Well Skineej ?

When you find them, send them to me. I’ll convert them for you at no charge.

Just to show you how important secrets are, DNR’s famous “Area 51” and “Area 53” (also known as “Jurassic Park”) have been secrets for over a decade. A couple of fishermen found them, and DNR was so scared that the secret would get out, that they twisted the long arm of the SAFMC to turn them into MPAs. Some one will come on here and correct me to proudly suggest that they are not “MPAs”, but instead they are “Special Management Zones”, “just like the other artificial reefs”. But then you ask, “Well, can I fish on them like all of the other DNR reefs?”, “Well no, these are not open to any sort of fishing”. Okay, so they are just MPA’s with a less hostile name. Something a little more palatable than saying, “Yeah, we put an MPA in 90’ of water”…
Anyway, you can spin this any way you want, but I can prove to you over and over that “secrets matter”…
Nice catch and congrats im personally 0 for 4 trips on swords but not giving up still on the bucket list !
