went out saturday afternoon with Mike Cambell on the “Marlin Darlin”, a 50’ post, released one sail before it got too dark. ran out and put out the squids. early and short bite. went 2 for 5 on swords in an hour and a half. released both swords. next morning started trollin again. caught 3 wahoo, 1 white marlin, and broke off a blue one. as flat as the ocean gets. most other boats had trouble gettin bites.

from what i’ve heard it was an incredible weekend fishing. heard of 3 different boats with blues with one getting 2, another boat loading up on yellowfin and a few wahoo, another boat with 20+ blackfin, and another with a 60 and 70lb wahoo.
contrats to gutwrench too for getting their first sword. He reported that almost all the boats swording around him did well also. sounded like a good december weekend out of charleston.

We had a blast. It was a long night. Bite ended at 10 pm and i was inside at midnight tryin to watch a movie before passing out for a few hours. Had the Gillznfinz crew aboard filming the whole trip. I cant wait to see the show. Should be up in a week or two on Gilznfinz.com.
