T top canvas

All Ya’ll;

The canvas on my T-top is showing some serious wear. I would like to get a new one made with the up-graded Sunbrella. I was thinking I could take it off so the old one could be used as a guide. Do ya’ll know of a good person for this job (good work, fair price )between Beaufort and Charleston?

Thanks in advance.

Raymond Martin is in Hardeeville and he will do a first class job with it.

Chuck has done a lot of work for me on my boat and I have had nothing but good results/dealings with him. He is located in Beaufort in the same building as Sutcliffes pools off of 280, Savannah Highway. (Right by Yamaha place) He’s done/redone all my cushions for the whole boat and the t-top.

Thank ya’ll very much! Now if it will ever stop raining I will take the old one off and get started on the new one.

You don’t need to take the old one off to get a new one made. If your in Beaufort and chuck does the work he took measurements off the t-top itself.

Using the old canvas might save you a few $$. The canvas maker will have to have some kind of pattern anyways, whether it’s your old one or they make one from scratch. If you bring in the old canvas, he or she, can make sure it’s the exact size of your original top. Also, all of the grommet holes will match.

I got my boat back from Chuck’s canvas last Wednesday. I was very pleased with the job. He put a double layed of Sunbrella over the electronics box as well as sewing in channels for the wires for my spreder lights. He was on time, on target at a very reasonable price.
