T top question..

Hello everyone I am new to this site. I am looking at a Sea Hunt BX22 pro with a T top. The problem I have is clearance issues with the T top. I have a 24x48 garage that it wont fit in, a 24 x 20 tractor shed it wont fit in and a 24x 40 carport that it will fit in but,it only has 9ft 1 in overhead clearance. I was told I need a little over 10 ft of clearance. Has any of you had any expierence with the Adjustable or folding T tops? I heard from one person that they were not rigid enough. Thanks for your help…

Fished with a friend the other day and he has one of the folding t tops on his bay boat and I did not even know until he mentioned where he stored it inside. I asked about t top clearance then he showed me it was a folding t top

I was impressed, never heard any rattling or clanking like I thought I would

With that said he did not have an electronics box or anything under t top

Sea Pro 210cc
Yamaha 200 4 Stroke
Dodge 1500 4x4 HEMI

Just seems problematic to me. I currently don’t have either, however have been in the market for one. When dealing with salt air and water, the joints just seem like an area for corrosion. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

I have a Fishmaster and love it. Been in 4-5 footers with a bay boat and t-top connections made no noise. Travels well down I-26 from Columbia to Charleston.
