I’m planning on getting a stress crack repaired and some pipe work to my aluminum t-top this winter.
Anyone in the Summerville area that is recommended?

If you have a stress crack in your top there is a possibility you have another underlying issue and the crack will more than likely come back. Can you post pics? Happybob can prob concure and offer advice as well.

There are several things that could cause stress cracks. Like palmettotrooper said, pictures would help. Knowing where the crack is could help diagnose the problem, if there is one. It could be just an unseen defect in the pipe.
I’m near Columbia, but I’d be glad to help you out.

I don’t have any pictures and I don’t keep the boat at my house.
The additional work I am planning on is adding bracing to the console to reduce the amount of flexing the top does which I believe caused the crack.

Also it’s definitely a hairline crack on the rear pipe, right above where it mounts to the console.

Just let Happy Bob come tow your boat to his place and have it for a few days. You will be hard pressed to find someone better. Well, Palmetto Trooper is pretty dang good as well.
