I am looking for a way to store my rods under the top of the T Top horizontally back to front. we have small children on board and I would like to keep the rods where they cant reach them.

If you want to do it the more economical way, you can always order the car rod storage system off cabelas for like 25 and then somehow rig it up so they hang under your T top, this will only work if your T top doesn’t have any type of foul weather gear since with it the rods wont have anywhere to hang using the racks

Velcro works great.

These are kind of pricey, but work well. http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=112969&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=50842&subdeptNum=50843&classNum=50845

Happy Bob, I have seen those and found them myself but I am having a hard time imagining how you rig them up to the T Top. Do you have these and or do you know how to rig them up.

I’ve never mounted those exact ones, But you should be able to mount them on the underside to the bows(side to side tubes)& to either the front or back of your top.

I have already tried the bugies with the ball on the end. They work, but you know , they take too long to get the rod out and I am worried about the rod rubbing against the t top to much. So a solution like the vertical holders would be preferred.
