Tackle Cost on the coast?

Im in the upstate,im browsing bass pro etc online. Any big sporting goods stores down there near Charleston or on I-26 thats easy to find that has decent priced terminal tackle etc? We are going to try some shark fishing and im in need of large hooks, steel leader etc. nothing like this up here since its mainly bass or catfishing. Last time we were down there we went purchased some tackle and everything was so overpriced. I’m not cheap, but i work hard for my money.

Go to haderalls sorry if i misspelled the name. But on price if you wanna play you gotta pay

fish today work tomorrow

the knowledge you will gain from talking to the local tackle shop guys will far outweigh what little savings you would have by going to a big box store…Haddrells will not steer you wrong…

If you need a good it of it, just mail order it in. I’ve not found Bass Pro and similar retailers to be much cheaper on terminal tackle than local shops, and I prefer to help the locals anyhow I can.

I do buy costly stuff like reels and rods online sometimes but for hooks and such, I buy around town. Sometimes it’s Haddrels, sometimes it’s Wal Mart, at least someone local is working

I agree with Bonzo the knowledge and customer service you will find at Haddrells is worth the diffrence in price. Which isn’t usually more than a few dollars on a high end rod. I live in Greenville and call to the shop on a regular basis to have tackle sent to me. Yes it costs me a few bucks more but you can’t beat the service.
