Well I didn’t think I was going fishing this weekend but I guess you never know. Ended up going to Rockville Regatta with a few boats to raft up, have a good time, and a few drinks. At some point throughout the day, someone on my boat put out the DNR lure ($10 camouflage all purpose line from Lowes). It was out trolling in the water all day behind my raft without my knowledge. Later on in the day I ended up with a 30’ contender DNR tag and release when he picked it up in his prop.
I hand lined him in old man and the sea style and we unwrapped the line. It was laughed off by all and the line was secured in the boat.
Of all the boats and drunk idiots nearly cutting off the back of my boat, with my luck, the one boat that would hit a random line in the water would be a DNR boat.
