fished out of bushy park this morning. seem to be high tide for 8 hours! managed to catch my first tagged red. caught on mm and very light tackle. put up a nice little fight. tag number was DJ108562 and was 32inches. turned out to be a really nice morning on the water.

Must be something in the water with the tagged fish getting caught.
I’ve seen Bushy do that when you have a strong onshore wind. I went fishing at Bushy last fall when that tropical storm was sitting off the coast. According to the tide chart I had, the tide was supposed to be dead low, but the water was WAY up over the top of the mud.
