Tailers and Cruisers 7-18-2013

Flat was hot yesterday, so hot the reds didn’t want to tail. Plenty of crusiers and only two true tailing fish. Managed one that I saw swirl on a plastic bait ten feet from the boat, but he was the only taker.

Finally started to see fish as the water was retreating, but none were wanting a meal. Trying again today hoping that the later tide might make them happy again like they were on Wednesday.

definitely nice pics! Im guessing that color lure is the chicken on a chain?

Not sure what its called, but I can check today. I believe exude makes it. Just a plastic with a little split tail at the end, nothing special about it. Personally I think any worm you wiggle in front of their face will get eaten.
