Caught one and lost one Sunday in the Wando flats on the high tide. Water didn’t get up high enough to flood the flats right, but they were still tailing on the edges. Saw about twenty tails but either couldn’t get the fly down through the thicker grass or they spooked. Frustrating day but still had a good time. Also saw a 100 plus fish in a school at low tide just as I ripped through them with the trolling motor. Should have been poling - probably would have seen them in time. managed to catch one that didn’t realize why all his buddies were blowing out. With these high tides this week I’m surprised ya’ll aren’t posting more tailing reports?
