Took my 2 daughters out this afternoon to look and hook some tailers. This tide usually puts us at an advantage and the fish tend to cooperate, but things appeared to be different this time. Only saw 3 tailers and it was very briefly and then their magioc trick was complete - poof they vanished. This was very hard to understand since I can track these fish’s movement very easily and how they acted as if they sucked a fiddler up that first attempt and they were content. Either way it gets better from here on out. The girls still had a great time on the water!

I watched a ray feeding in a flat and it turn one side up and it looks just like a Red feeding.You could just see something moving.I had to get the binocs out.

I fished Thursday and yesterday. Thursday the tails were nonexistent. Friday after the storm, tails were abundant on the same flats. If you can get out today, I bet it’ll be good.
