Waiting on Nikon Jedi…
I haven’t been fishing in two weeks… You have me on the edge of my seat? Let’s see the pics man!!!
All right, I’ll start. Hit the flats yesterday with Scotty D. Saw lots of fish immediately tailing. Spooked a few, then Scotty nailed a nice one on the fly. As he is fighting that one, I hook up on the gulp. Would have made a nice picture with the double up in skinny water. Endend up seeing a bunch more and hooking up with another. Fish were 25"-28".
Got out there again today with Scotty, 5151, Timbuck2, Nikon Jedi and his buddy. Went back to the same flat and saw a few, though not as many. Scotty got one before he met us, then I got this one again on the gulp crab:
Saw a few more after that tailing, but they were getting spooky as the water dropped. Mad that I didn’t get more tailing, but it still gets your heart pumping looking at those pretty tails waving at you!
I’ll wait on Nikon Jedi to tell us about the second half of the day when he gets his picture ready.

I was there, and I am waiting for the pics. We had a great day out in Redfishville. Nikon had his first real spot tail experience and I doubt he’ll ever forget releasing that monster 34/35"(?) red.
DD had a simultaneous double date with a couple of his best fish friends. One of which made a successful run to the oyster beds.
I landed a couple of fish myself and am hoping Nikon gets off his duff and starts posting soon.

I had to tell Nikon, cause he can be a cry-baby.( I know, I work with him) He got a bushy creek baby red and called it part of his in-shore slam, but he darn near wet himself when the redfishville reds came a callin:smiley:
Did get a 20" black drum, do they grill as well as the reds:imp:
