He’s got 34 rigged and on his yak but he only handles 6 at a time  I thought the same thing the first time I fished with him… he has a system. If I have more than one rod out and hook up I wind up in a cocoon of mono… true story… I had to bite my way out of a mono cocoon while fighting a red in Redfishville

A few misc pics from out of bushy. The biggest flounder I had managed to flop just a bit quicker than I was with the camera…believe it if you will.

Nice fish scott! when did you get back, plus…that’s Morris Island Florida?

Yea, we got back last night. Not much fishing just paddling…paddling…paddling…

i caught those fish in late fall up against bridge pilings.
i caught most of them on fidlers but oysters work well also. (and there are plenty of them on the bridge pilings… if you have something to open them.)
just drop the bait straight down and try to fish the whole water column.
if you feel a peck…that was a sheephead. rebait and try agin.

what is the best time of year for sheephead and what tide would be better

If fishing live or cut bait, usually two at a time. I like to keep a jig rigged up as well as a DOA or other float rig. Depending on where we are going, I might take a fifth. I like to have everything I might need ready to go! Be prepared, it must be the Eagle Scout in me!
