targeting black drum

I have caught an occasional fish on the near shore reef and a dock or two. But a post the other day showed that apparently they can be caught in quantity and in one location. So that leads me to the questions of what depth, current strength and bottom structures do they like to hold on.

Fish bridges and rock piles on moving water. I’ve caught them as shallow as 1’ of water and as deep as 12’but the water has to be moving. They are found around structure and eat crusteceans (shrimp and crab).

They can also be caught in the surf in the spring in the fall. best when water temps are in the mid 70s

I’ve seen them tailing around sol legare. Not often but a couple of times. It makes sense bc they love crustaceans.

Unlike TexasRed, I catch em better at slack tide rather than when the water is moving. Use shrimp or crabs around structure.

The worse the society, the more law there will be. In Hell there will be nothing but law, and due process will be meticulously observed.
