Tarpon 120 or 140

I hope the man coming to see my kayak tommorow buys it, because that will help with buying a new fishing kayak. Im about 5 7 and still growing, so would either the 120 or 140 kayak be too long/hard to paddle? Or would it be a good kayak for my size? Thanks

140… Still small enough for the creeks but faster than the 120… But either is a great fishing kayak.

I am 5’7" and i have the 120. It is fast, stable, and light enough for me to lift over my head. I like the 120.

thanks guys

160

Im 6’, 260 lbs the 140 works well but I believe the 160 would be the way to go (for my size)

I’m 5’8", 190 pounds of lean mass. Pungo 12 works great for me. Don’t need or want anything larger or longer. I fish with a small tackle box, pump, and anchor, and that is about it.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency.

im 6’1 and 215, have a tarpon 120 and love it. Plenty of room and very stable thinking about getting a ride 135 but as far as your size a 120 would be perfect

For me it depends on where you want to fish and how far you plan to paddle. Shorter trips 4 or 5 miles it doesn’t really matter, longer trips - take the longer boat. small creeks a shorter boat lets you get into some tighter places.

I know some guys who never paddle more than a mile from the put in
