Not be able to use that kayak in Cailfornia??? Please... The sport started in that state... Between the small alpine lakes, Large Impounments, Sacramento River delta, and Pacific Ocean, there is more places for a SOT than a sit in...
surf glad you made it back home ok! $500 is what I’ll take for it.
5151, got your email, I’ll get back with you.
Troy, I’ve thought long and hard about it. Wont be making to many trips to the beach to go fishing anytime soon, just from Kernville to Bakersfield its a hour and half (35 miles) through the canyon, and then a couple to three more hours to the coast.
Most of my fishing will be putting on the waders, walking across the street and hitting the trout(upper N Kern river). Don’t want to get rid of my boat but between the cost of getting it there and not be able to use it where I’ll be living is why I’m selling it.
Looks like y’all had a good time down your way this past weekend!
51, for the right amount of money that might work.
yak…SIS…not a SOT…that water is COLD! Being from the south…that water is COLD!
Mud and a 3 1/2 legged mutt
Tarpon 140
You planning on swimming often? If so, a SINK (SIS) will hold water and force you to stay in that cold water longer… A SOT, fall in water, climb on kayak, No having to pump out bilge.
With all the fishing equipment, I seriously doubt you are going to wear a spray skirt and learn to roll… Which would be made harder by addition of rods, mounts, etc…
What you do to protect from the cold water, is wear Goretex waders.
Mudroc, been wantin to get into kayak fishing - I live in west ashley, don’t know much about fishing kayaks other than they all seem expensive at the camping stores in - mt p.
New to the forum - is there a way for you to contact me, intersted in possibly buying if this yak is a good fit for me. thanks -
