Tarpon fishing?

Hey I am trying to weather the rain and possible thunderstorms on Sunday to do some fishing in the harbor. I would really like to hook up with a tarpon. Has anyone done so yet and if so can u give a guy some tips. A tarpon hookup would be amazing, last time I caught one I was in Puerto Rico. And that was a blast.
