I hooked one in the Cooper last year on my medium action gear fishing for inshore species on a cork. He ate a 4 inch mullet and had me spooled completey before we could get the anchor up and chase him. Does anybody know if there are areas in Chuck Town that are worth setting up for poons specifically?
Guns kill people just like spoons made Rosie O’donell fat.

Had to slip down to the keys for some true sightfishing this weekend:
this was such a great fish, about 35lbs didn’t have to move the boat to catch it and it jumped all over the place. Also got an 80 and 90 today but since we were using 40lb flouro shock to get bites, they wore through it not long after the leader was inside the rod.
This was the first of the morning and he almost rode the strong incoming all the way from the ocean inside of biscayne bay. Using all 10weights today.
