after several years trying i finally caught a tarpon on friday. my wife wants to have a replica made, so i probably should go ahead before she changes her mind! any advice/experience on good places to use? king sailfish mounts and grey’s taxidermy seem to get the most press but if others are cheaper and just as good i’m all for it.

King Sailfish definitely the way to go. They did a 40" red for me years ago and its legit. They arent cheap but its worth it.

King Sailfish is awesome. I have a 40" snook done by them. Awesome investment.
I’ve also had King SF do a few for me, for charter clients. They do beautiful work. You are lucky, my wife won’t let me hang anything with a face on “her” walls:smiley:
