My fiancee caught her first tarpon yesterday. She had been with me at least a dozen times before today. She thought it would never happen. Should of had a great video of the fish jumping but the go pro died 3 minutes into the fight. My fault. Bait was all over the inlet. Fought him for 30 mins. So far its been a good year. Made 3 trips and have hooked 2 fish and saw one busting bait on the trip we didn’t a bite.

It was one of the bigger tarpon I have caught. My guess os over 125lbs. I don’t have a great pic that shows how fast she was.
