Tax value of my Yamaha motor

My 2010 115 is valued on the tax bill that just came at $7340.
is that as of now or as of 1 Jan 13?
what published blue book exists.
odd way tax amount is only $10 less than last year- meaning motor did not depreciate

Yes, the NADA guide is usually accurate. That looks like a fair valuation.

Is the motor a 2 stroke or 4?

That’s because it’s a Yamaha:smiley:

Thanks.
On my 19 ft boat
NADA adds $2400-2800 for external hydraulic steering - single.

I have a baystar unit behind the helm- what are they talking about “external”?

That doesn’t sound right. A complete new hydraulic steering system only cost 1/3 of that.
