I am looking for any size teak pieces in ANY condition. It could be painted i dont care. i have very limited funds and figured some of you may have scraps sitting around that is old or deemed by you “no good”. I want make a cutting board for my boat and possible a new console for the old truck(elbow went thru it last fishing trip). i will make you something also for providing the scraps. I have been working with teak for years and can make some cool stuff. i can afford to pay a little but nothing near the price of new teak. or, i am aslo a big fan of the barter system. let me know. thanks guys.

My neighbor is going to scrap some wood that looks like teak. It is hard to tell because it is very weathered, but heavy. It is in two halves with a smooth edge and when put together forms a round piece about 19 inches in diameter. It has a design on one side, like a small table top. I believe it is about 1/2 inch thick. Sounds like it is halfway to a cutting board already.
Theres a guy in Columbia that has an old army tent slap full of teak and other hard to find wood. I’ll swing by and get his contact info for you next week when I go back to work
