Well, we think that it’s necessary to do a follow up on the big CF.com bottom fishing tournament. Team STONER made right with their bet, but unfortunately the weather window closed a little too soon for them to take a shot at us. Team Banshee called a special, emergency, G5 classified conference call on a secure channel with red phones to discuss what we would do with Team STONER’s contribution. I am pleased to inform the community that by unanimous decision, myself, Edisto Fisher, sellsfish, and my father decided to do something special for the “chirrens”… We proudly cashed Team STONER’s check and purchased toys with their winnings. The toys will be donated to “Toys 4 Tots” for all the kids that won’t be getting much this year. Team STONER’s donation was able to purchase 40 gifts for needy children this year, so hopefully it makes the kid’s year just a little better.
I want to thank everyone on my team for their donation and to Team STONER for making things right. Hopefully next year, they will get another shot at us on the water!

Great idea Skinnee! I wonder who came up with that idea…I guess that is classified info. Team STONER has to feel better about their donation under the circumstances of not being able to fish.

folks should consider making it an annual event. get some press for it and watch it grow. maybe roll an inshore day in with it too. i bet some serious $$ could be raised for a noble cause
