I have to say Chris V. has always taken care of me. But I have to apologize for the public slander I have seen over the last few days on Craig’s List…Undeserved! If you don’t like his business that’s one thing, but to bad mouth him repeatedly is uncalled for. Hope it wasn’t anyone from this site, if it was I have to say I disagree completely. Chris has given TUNS of FREE help on these forums, that was technically accurate and helpful and asks for nothing in return. I am sure other businesses in town probably do the same thing but Chris and those like him are better people for doing so. I hope their businesses prosper for their good deeds!

I didn’t see the “email this posting” link, o/w I would’ve forwarded them. Anyways, he’s likely aware. I guess CL not watched by a Pickett. I 've had an angry "customer " or two and they’ve lost far more than $79. Guess I’m lucky the’s not a CL section for my services. Chris always seems willing to talk and work out a mutually beneficial deal.

we even emailed the guy and told him if he was still having an issue to bring the boat back and we would fix it and he wont respond to the emails
what bothers me the most is not that we made a mistake, that happens sometimes, but that this person thinks we (scammed) him in some way. thats actually a big issue for me, since we work so hard to try and do the right thing, even when it cost me money.
I can tell you from personal experience that Chris has always gone waaaay above and beyond to ensure that 1) I ways always given a detailed verbal description of any work they performed on my boat and 2) I have always been happy with the repairs that were done. Unfortunately, there is always one customer out of every hundred that no matter what you do, you will never ever please them. I believe they have a name for those people, now if I could only remember, … oh yeah, i think it is douchebag! It is truly a shame that people like this feel they have to try their hardest to ruin an upstanding and honest business’ Rep because they don’t have the balls to say these things face to face and like an adult. All I can say is " some people 's kids."

Can’t please all the people all the time! Chris definitly goes out of his way to help folks out as much as humanly possible. Has given folks tons of free great advice on here.
Anything beyond scheduled maint. or simple otb. fixes I won’t get into and refer them to Chas Marine.
( should have two comin to ya next week with diagnostic and lo compression issues)
